The AX2012 R3 application will become end-of-life in October 2021, at which point Microsft Dynamics Mainstream Support will end. The standard Microsoft upgrade tools currently supports upgrades from either Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or Dynamics AX 2012 R3 to Dynamics 365. During the Mainstream Support product lifecycle, the Microsoft Dynamics AX teams will continue developing security hotfixes, add non-security hotfixes as well as regulatory updates for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
