2023 Year in Review at Avantiico

Introduction

2023 was a big year at Avantiico. We were awarded the 2023-2024 Microsoft Business Applications Inner Circle award, achieved the Great Place to Work certification for the 4th year in a row, and released brand new features for the accounting software, the Advanced Multi-Company Solution. Read on to learn more about the exciting past year of achievements.

2023 Achievements and Accomplishments

Avantiico has achieved the prestigious 2023-2024 Microsoft Business Applications Inner Circle award. Membership in this elite group is based on sales achievements that rank Avantiico in the top echelon of Microsoft’s Business Applications global network of partners. Inner Circle members have performed to a high standard of excellence by delivering valuable solutions that help organizations achieve increased success. 

2023-2024 Inner Circle members are invited to the Inner Circle Summit in Spring 2024, as well as virtual meetings between July 2023 and June 2024, where they will have a unique opportunity to discuss strategy with Microsoft senior leaders and fellow Inner Circle partners, while learning more about the company’s road maps and future plans, establish strong executive connections, and collaborate on best practices.

New Feature Releases:
The Advanced Multi-Company Solution for Microsoft D365 Finance

To wrap up a great year, our team worked diligently to bring new features to the accounting automation software built for Dynamics 365, the Advanced Multi-Company Accounting Software. Let’s take a closer look at the notable list of launched features.

Automatic submission for journal workflows

We collaborated with one of our clients to identify a pain point slowing down their daily journal workflows. To address this issue, we built a new feature that’s eliminated manual work, saving their team valuable time. Now, users can easily submit eligible journals for approval –– manually or automatically through recurring batch jobs. This not only enhances AP automation and OCR functionality but also streamlines the entire process, leading to improved efficiency and reduced manual effort.

Duplicate checking for global invoices

Managing payments across multiple companies can be complex, especially with shared vendors. This new feature gives you complete control by identifying and preventing duplicate invoices. Simply define your global validation preferences, and the system automatically checks each invoice number against the global database. Duplicate invoice numbers are instantly flagged and rejected, eliminating errors, and ensuring accurate payments.

Vendor Settlement Import

During data migration, migrating closed vendor transactions is typically too complicated to include in scope. However, there may be instances where bringing in historical vendor data is required. This is usually a complex and painful process, but the Vendor Settlement Import feature allows closed transactions from another system to be imported along with settlement details.  One of our current customers who recently tested out the new functionality said it’s saving him a significant amount of time and work.

Global Trial Balance Reports

This new inquiry takes standard trial balances and allows users to run them across all legal entities for global balances. Historically, our customers had to complete this company by company by manually extracting the reports from Excel. With the new functionality, users only need to pull the reports once and gather them for all legal entities across their organization, delivering a comprehensive financial view instantly and efficiently. In addition to the features highlighted above, the following AMCS features went live:

For companies managing multiple legal entities, Ceridian’s payroll now seamlessly integrates with D365, allowing data to flow seamlessly between the two systems and across all entities. The solution simplifies the process by incorporating multi-company journals into the integration strategy and offering a template for efficient handling of high-volume data. With Ceridian’s payroll import template, importing data for multiple legal entities becomes effortless and seamless.
  • Global Customer Aging:

In standard D365, inquiries and reports are limited to individual legal entities. However, our solution allows users to effortlessly generate inquiries or reports across multiple legal entities from a single entity. It enables the creation of views spanning subsets of all legal entities simultaneously, while ensuring that outputs are delivered at the company level for all selected entities.

  • Personalization Support for Journals Lines Form:

This new feature offers flexible control over each stage of the posting process, allowing users to predetermine the degree of automation for each step. Journals undergo pre-validation before creation, ensuring that errors are identified upfront. If an error occurs, the warning message precisely identifies the legal entity and journal line requiring correction, thereby saving time, and averting potential errors prior to posting. We offer the ability to personalize this form to best fit your business needs and function.

  • CSV Record Delimiter Defaults:

Files can be imported into AMCS via CSV file format.  We offer the flexibility to use many different record delimiter options to maximize the flexibility of our solution to meet your requirements out of the box.
