Transforming Complex Multi-Entity Operations in Dynamics 365 FSCM with AMCS

I am delighted to provide positive feedback on the Avantiico Multi Company Solution, which has truly transformed the way our organization looks to manage complex multi-entity operations as we transition to business-as-usual operations with D365 F&O.

The core multi-company functionality has solved a major business challenge, whereby we needed to post general journals across up to 50 legal entities simultaneously.  Rather than producing 50 files, switching between each individual legal entity, and triggering as many workflow approval items – which is what the standard functionality of D365 F&O mandates – we can work with one sheet in one Excel file, with a single work item to be approved prior to posting across all legal entities simultaneously, in batch.

One standout feature that has significantly enhanced our workflow is the newly introduced composite uploads functionality.  With composite uploads, we can now load multiple related data entities – such as products, released products, and trade agreement journals – in a single Excel workbook, landing in multiple legal entities simultaneously.  This eliminates the need for repetitive and time-consuming individual uploads and gives us a more streamlined process that accelerates our regular updates whilst ensuring data consistency and accuracy across all entities.

As a final example, the availability of a range of multi-company reports, e.g. multi-company trial balance, has saved on substantial customisation costs with our implementation partner and greatly aided our reporting workstream.

Overall, Avantiico and their AMCS product, have been a pleasure to work with.  The team have moved quickly to support our timeline, from commercials, to mobilisation and training. It is worth noting that the configuration of the tool is very light, compared to other ISVs.  Avantiico has also been very receptive to our product feedback, rapidly delivering new functionality for the benefit of us and their other clients.

For more than a decade Avantiico has been working in partnership with the Harman teams across Microsoft versions and implementations since the first go-live in 2010.
